Goodwood Revival Ball, The Battle of Waterloo, London

The Goodwood Revival sees a parade of iconic vehicles that travel back in history to capture the best from the golden era, but  the period atmosphere is much more than just classic cars, fashion plays its key role, too, with visitors attending the event in vintage clothing and accessories.
Over the weekend I attended alongside thousands of visitors to the Goodwood Circuit  in full spirit. 99% of people were dressed in period clothing, channeling the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s – everything from rockers and to starched British Army officers.

I was one of the 1% dressed not in costume but black tie – for the Goodwood Revival Ball.

I was invited by Nth Degree Club and by Rolls Royce which was really exciting. I was picked up in a Rolls Royce at 5pm and headed to Goodwood (2hour drive out of London).

Wearing: House of Fraser Biba Navy Blue Dress, Prada Bag, Miss Selfridges Faux Fur, Valentino Rock Studs.

The black tie event was themed ‘The Battle of Waterloo’ and is considered of the most regarded black tie events in the United Kingdom. The decor and table settings were absolutely stunning!

A ticket will set you back about 500pounds (a head). However, if you have a corporate credit card or are looking to surprize a loved one or experience one of the best events in London it is well worth the setback!
